Cake Classic winners, auction results

[AUG. 7, 2000]  The auction of winning cakes from the Cake Classic on Sunday afternoon at the Logan County Fair yielded a total of $2,100. Stephen R. Wurth's German chocolate cake won first place and was purchased by Cullers French Fries for $500. Complete results are listed below.

[AUG. 7, 2000]  Although harness racing at the Logan County Fair was rained out Saturday, Aug. 5, the track was bladed to make races possible on Sunday, Aug. 6. Results of the Downstate Classic are listed below.
