Robbin Nickelson, a first-time business owner, is happy to help answer any gardening questions you may have. After shopping there, it’s well worth the effort to stop at The Farm. A trip to this Menard County family-owned business just a few miles down the road from Salisbury is like a breath of fresh air.

[AUG. 25, 2000]  Lt. Gov. Corinne Wood recently presented a $14,000 check to Debby Cook, director of nursing at Logan County Health Department, to assist Logan County Health Department in addressing osteoporosis through its "Calcium Counts 1, 2, 3" program. The Illinois Department of Public Health’s Office of Women’s Health is providing the grant, which is part of an initiative announced by Gov. George Ryan.
