Brian in the Big Ten

[JAN 27, 2000] Brian Cook is a 6’10”, 231-pound freshman at the University of Illinois. He is currently averaging 6.6 points per game and is shooting an incredible 56% from the field! Earlier this season I had the pleasure of watching him and the Illini practice in the beautiful new Ubben basketball complex. I caught up with him again on the phone Monday night after Illinois’ thrilling 87-76 victory over Penn State on Saturday.
