Dear Editor:
Thank you for writing the article about 'Y Can Do' - it is wonderful! It is fantastic to have a quality paper that emphasizes the good things in our community. The entire Y staff thanks you and will now look forward to reading the paper every day. We were all like a bunch of little kids at Christmas reading the 1st edition yesterday! Muchos gracias-

To the editor:

If possible, and if they have home computers, I would be interested in hearing from old High School Buddies from Lincoln. I grew up there and attended school, grades 1 through 12. I left in 1959 to join the Marines and after five years serving in the "Far East", I was discharged and became a Diplomat in the Foreign Service (Federal Government). During my career of 27 years, all but one assignment was overseas, from Asia, to Africa, to Eastern Europe, South America and the Middle East. Having been abducted three times, a hostage in the 1979 Embassy in Tehran and shot at and tracked in Bogota, Colombia I feel now that I am retired and living in Southwest Texas, on the Mexican border it, would be a good time to see if the following individuals are still around and would like to contact me. They are, Jug Mallerage, Laverne Turner, Jim Leslie, Jim Cave and any others that may remember me from our old school days. My e-mail address is okihanna@hiline.net

Thank you.
