Claudia Bottomley

Claudia J. Busch Bottomley, 87, of Lincoln, died at 10 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2000, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 3, at Holland & Barry Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Burial will be in New Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home on Monday.

Mrs. Bottomley retired from Lehn & Fink Products Company, where she had worked for 20 years.

She was born June 21, 1913, at Curran, a daughter of Lee and Fern (Hines) Hohimer. She married Orville H. Busch on June 7, 1938, at Springfield. He died April 2, 1961. She married Thomas Bottomley on Feb. 20, 1965, at Carlinville. He died July 18, 1992.

Surviving are one son, James O. (and wife Dianna) Busch of Delavan; one stepson, James Bottomley of Mesa, Ariz.; two grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and 25 step-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild; one brother, Oran Hohimer of Girard; and one sister, Thelma Stewart of Bettendorf, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Evidene Lee; and one step-great-grandson, Jordan Lee.

She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ and the Royal Neighbors of America.

Memorials may be made to St. John United Church of Christ or the Logan County Ambulance Association.
