Norman
D. Liesman, 58, of Lincoln, died at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday, July 5,
2000, at his residence.
Funeral
services will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2000, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln with the Rev. Mark Peters officiating.
Burial
will be at a later date.
Visitation
will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Liesman
was a carpenter.
He
was born Nov. 16, 1941, in Lincoln, a son of Delbert and Hazel (Kiest)
Liesman.
Surviving
are his mother, Hazel Liesman of Lincoln; two sisters, Carolyn (and
Kenneth) Levi and Shirley (and Charles) Rigg; and several nieces and
nephews.
He
was preceded in death by his father, one brother, and one
great-niece.
He
enjoyed racing of most kinds, especially NASCAR and dirt track
racing.
Memorials
may be made to the American Heart Association.

Olivia
Anne Toft, 8 months, of Lincoln died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at
Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
A
memorial service will be Saturday, July 8, at 2 p.m. at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Tim Searby officiating.
Visitation
will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
The
baby, a daughter of Jonathan and Ann (Hoagland) Toft, was born Oct.
19, 1999, in Lincoln.
Surviving
are her parents, of Lincoln; one sister, Rhiannon Hoagland of
Lincoln; two brothers, Jonathan and Zachery Toft of Lincoln; her
maternal grandparents, Robert and Helen Hoagland of Lincoln;
paternal grandmother Joanne Toft of Lincoln; maternal
great-grandmother Virgie Van Fossan of Lincoln; and maternal
great-great-grandmother Goldie Moseng of Meridian, Calif.
She
was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, James Toft.
Memorials
may be made to Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago or to the
Ronald McDonald House.

Lanterman
Georgia
Belle Lanterman, 101, of Mount Pulaski, died at 4:30 a.m. Thursday,
July 6, 2000, at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mount Pulaski.
Funeral
services, with Bill Shanle officiating, will be at 1 p.m. Monday,
July 10, from Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski.
Burial
will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery.
Visitation
will be one hour before the services at the funeral home.
Mrs.
Lanterman was born Nov. 23, 1898, at rural Cornland, a daughter of
Lewis and Frances (Staggers) Luckhart. She married Raymond Lanterman
on June 2, 1917, at Springfield. He died in 1964.
Surviving
are one daughter, Erma (and Roy) Conant of Springfield; seven
grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild;
and several nieces and nephews.
She
was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Melba Arney; one
son, Forrest Lanterman; one brother, Rupert Luckhart; two sisters,
Rena Bryson and Blanche Fulcher; and two great-grandchildren.
She
was a member of the Lincoln Christian Church and a 50-year member of
the Lincoln Eastern Star.
Memorials
