  • 7/7, 9:53 a.m.; female, 16; Juvenile warrant; arrested in lot at 1109 Hickox Drive

Theft $300 and under

  • 7/8, 2:55 p.m.; male, 8; theft $300 and under; arrested at 610 Broadway St.
  • 7/7, 7:26 p.m.; 11.88 gallons of gasoline, $19.00 value, were stolen from Burwell's gas sStation, 511 Keokuk, at 6:31 p.m. on 7/7
  • 7/7, 7:59 p.m.; 18.00 gallons of gasoline, $30 value, were stolen from Burwell's gas station, 511 Keokuk; witnesses described the vehicle as a maroon/rust colored older Dodge Ram pickup truck with an Illinois license plate
  • 7/8, 1:20 p.m.; a reddish-orange Dyno bicycle was stolen sometime overnight (7/7-7/8) from outside a residence on the 900 block of Clinton Street

  • 7/6, 10:28 p.m.; male, 29, 500 block of 14th Street; failure to appear; arrested at residence, held for prosecution

Retail theft

  • 7/6, 2:35 p.m.; unknown person stole $5 of gas from Apollo Mart on Broadway; witness described the thief as a white male approximately 5 feet, 10 inches with dark hair and glasses; thief was driving a red Dodge/Plymouth minivan with possible plate PAGE153

Theft under $300

  • 7/6, 4:15 p.m.; female, 19, 600 block of Short 10th Street; theft under $300, forgery, burglary from motor vehicle over $300; arrested at 220 N. Logan St., held for prosecution
  • 7/6, 12:58 p.m.; sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. on 7/6, a pink/purple 18-speed women’s mountain bicycle and a blue/black BMX style “Sandblaster” bicycle were taken from the porch of a residence on the 700 block of Adams Street
