  • 7/12, 6:34 a.m.; sometime between 9:45 p.m. on 7/11 and 6:30 a.m. on 7/12, a black 1998 Chevrolet was damaged in the Wal-Mart parking lot; damage includes cracked bumper, dents and scratches along the driver's side, and scratches on the rear bumper

Criminal trespass to residence

  • 7/12, 4:41 p.m.; male, 26, 100 block of South Logan; criminal trespass to property; arrested at 321 S. Sangamon

Domestic battery

  • 7/12, 6:17 p.m.; female, 23, 600 block of Fourth Street; domestic battery; arrested at residence, held for prosecution
  • 7/12, 5:09 p.m.; male, 33, 600 block of Fourth Street; arrested same as above

Hit-and-run

  • 7/12, 12:50 p.m.; a bicyclist was crossing the street at Logan and Keokuk when a wan turning right hit him, stopped, then continued east on Keokuk; the bicyclist described the van as white with ladders on top with the name Walley's on the passenger side in blue letters

Theft $300 and under

  • 7/11, 8 a.m.; a 1995 black Toyota Cellica was damaged between 7 p.m. on 7/10 and 7 a.m. on 7/11 while parked in a lot at 203 Madigan Drive

Theft over $300

  • 7/11, 7:14 a.m.; sometime after 12 a.m. on 7/11 a blue Dyno NSX bicycle and a blue Schwinn 18-speed bicycle were taken from a residence on the 600 block of Oglesby Avenue; two other bicycles were left in the yard; the blue Dyno NSX bicycle was recovered on the 500 block of North Sherman
