One of the most effective ways in which this activity can be prevented and those committing the offenses apprehended is through more involvement by the public. [MAY 9, 2000] The 133rd annual Lincoln College spring commencement will be Saturday, May 13, at 2 p.m. in Davidson-Sheffer Gymnasium. Dr. James M. McPherson, Pulitzer Prize author and Princeton University history professor, will be the commencement speaker and one of four honorary degree recipients.

[MAY 9, 2000] The Lincoln Police Department implemented a disabled parking enforcement volunteer program May 1. The program has received a positive response from the community. We are asking for assistance from the public to enhance our program. The volunteers have been issuing tickets to vehicles that appear to be violating the handicapped parking spaces.
