Question:

Question: For what should Americans be thankful?

Responses from  LCHS students are below.

[Alejandro Valdés, sophomore]

Peace and prosperity. We take it for granted and don't think about it unless we visit other countries with poverty and wars.

[Ali Davidson, senior]

Most countries do not have as much food and shelter available to them as we do. Americans should see what they do have, not what they do not have.

[Adrienne Neal, sophomore]

A good variety of where to live such as mountains, plains and beach areas.

[to top of second column]

[Tyler Gehlbach, sophomore]

We should be thankful that soldiers are not fighting in our streets and that we live in a prosperous nation.
