Following the Restaurant at the Depot ribbon cutting, the Chamber of Commerce held their monthly evening Chamber Mixer. Businesses and organizations derive a lot of benefit by belonging the Chamber, including having an opportunity to gather informally at least once a month and speak to other people who are interested and involved with business, government, and other activities in the community. The event was entertained in the lounge with dinner music provided by talented pianist Ed Clark. Clark may be contacted to perform for your event by calling (217)735-2120. Pictures show the warm ambiance and character of this recently re-opened restaurant, which quietly opened in March under the new ownership of the Orr family. The daily menu features elegant fine cuisine. Their hours are: Weekdays: 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Weekends: 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Weekends lounge: open till midnight |
