"Do high schools need to adopt a uniform-type dress code?"

Responses from  LCHS students are below. 

[Cara Barr, sophomore]

Yes, because that way people won’t be judged for their appearance and won’t need to pick out a certain outfit each day.

[Chris Allen, sophomore]

Yes. We, as Americans, do judge people on what they wear. It also would be less expensive.

[Jessica Carey, freshman]

Yes. Many students do not go by the dress code now. Everybody would know what has to be worn, and there would be no questions asked.

High schools don’t really need to have uniforms. They say it helps keep order in the classrooms, but I can’t see how what you wear affects your behavior.
