Lincoln College presents ‘Dylan’

[OCT. 17, 2000]  Lincoln College Theatre Department opens its season with the drama "Dylan" on Thursday, Oct. 26, at the Johnston Center for Performing Arts.

"Dylan" is a compelling story about an overindulgent poet who leaves Wales to tour the States to find life’s experiences. "Dylan" is based on memoirs by Caitlin Thomas and John M. Brinnin and written by Sidney Michaels. Lincoln College Theatre instructor Jerry Dellinger directs the play.

 

Cast members from the area include Nick King (Lincoln) as Dylan, Brittany Dobson (Lincoln) as Meg, Tina Mayer (Lincoln) as Annabelle, Josh Twente (Lincoln) as Brinnin, Tony Soto (Clinton) as Angus, Rosemary Porter (Heyworth) as Reporter #2 and Katharine Anne Porter and Chris Cooper (Decatur) as Jay Henry.

Show time is 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26; Friday, Oct. 27; and Saturday, Oct. 28; with a matinee performance at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29.
