Who would you choose to be the next U.S. president and why?

[Kim McFadden, senior]

George W. Bush. He has good morals, and I agree with just about everything he says.

 

[Derrick McCray, junior]

Definitely Al Gore. I’ve been brought up to believe that Republicans take "from the poor and give to the rich." If you look past what Clinton did, our economy is good and taxes stayed down.

[Omar Obaisi, sophomore]

George W. Bush. It’s always what Clinton did, not what Al Gore did. George Bush’s father was president, which should be good experience, and he is governor of Texas.

[Jamey Cabit, junior]

Al Gore. President Clinton made the taxes lower and Al Gore didn’t do that. But if he’s president, he will have more responsibilities and opportunities.
