5:00-6:30 – Pork chop sandwich supper

6:30 – Opening ceremony, dedications

7:00 – "New Salem Country Opry"

9:00 – Attendance drawing

Saturday

7:00-10:00 a.m. – 4-H breakfast

8:00 – 5K run;  Craft and flea market sales (all day)

9:00 – Historical displays, quilt show, antiques, car displays, farm machinery
          (all day)

9:30 – Girl Scout children’s games

10:00 – Petting zoo opens

10:30 – "Quacky the Clown";  tree and flag dedication

11:00 – Puppet show by Lincoln Bible Church

12:00 – Pedal tractor pull; carnival rides

1:00 – Parade line up

2:00-3:30 – Parade:  Bands, fire trucks, floats, old cars, and more

3:30 – Bingo opens;  "Quacky the Clown" magic show

4:00 – Banjo band;  hot air balloon demonstrations

4:30-6:30 – Grilled rib eye and chicken supper

5:00 – "Sidekicks" line dancers

5:30 – Talent show winners performance

6:00 – "Mason City Area Singers"

7:00 – Kent Sorrels - "Everyone’s Favorite Hypnotist"

8:00-11:00 – "City Limits Band";  balloon glow;  4-H cakewalk

Late evening 50/50 drawing

Sunday

9:00 – Denominational church services

10:30 – Community church service and choirs

12:00 – Potluck dinner

1:30 – Auction of donated items and supplies
