Clinton Cox

A memorial service for Clinton C. Cox will be Wednesday, Jan. 24, at 6 p.m. in the recreation room at the Logan Court Highrise, 1028 N. College St. in Lincoln. Arrangements are being handled by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Cox, 71, of Lincoln died at 9:59 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2001, at his home.

He was a copper miner in Colorado before his retirement.

He was born in Colorado on Feb. 23, 1929, to Arthur Wesley and Irene (Cartee) Cox. He married Virginia Fannin on Dec. 22, 1971, in Superior, Wyo. She died Nov. 13, 1997.

Surviving are a dear friend, Mildred Buss Smith of Lincoln; two sons, Kenneth and Robert Cox, addresses unknown; one sister, Lois Wince of Colorado Springs, Colo; and four brothers, Raymond Cox of Lafayette, Ind., William Cox of Colorado Springs, Colo., Ralph Cox of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Donald Cox of Green River, Wyo.

Memorials may be made to the Clinton C. Cox estate.
