America celebrates Arbor Day today.

Washington-Monroe and other area schools got an early start planting trees April 17 for Arbor Day. The city of Lincoln donated the trees. Donnie Osborne from Lincoln Streets and Alleys Department, Alderman Glenn Shelton and the LCHS National Honor Society assisted students with the plantings.  [Click here for more photos]
