Mattie the rescue donkey paid a visit to the Logan County Fair. Tammy Buse, her trainer, said that the 1-year-old is in training to assist the Horse Search and Rescue Team. She will be used in situations where a victim needs to be carried out of an area. Terry Storer and Dianne Ruff from Logan County Emergency Services and Local Emergency Planning Committee were amongst the hundreds of concessionaires who provided either food and drink, information, or small treasures -- trademarks of the fair.
