The fairgrounds come alive this weekend with tons of fun for the whole family during the ever-popular Railsplitter Festival. Last year's champion, Marty Yount of Hiram, Mo., lickety-splits a rail.

Last weekend the soapboxes on Mount Pulaski hills were nearly faster than the eye. The village enjoyed premium weather for all of their three-day annual fall festival activities.
