A new dynamic duo will represent Logan County economic interests.  Jeff Mayfield officially begins serving as the new economic development director on Feb. 1. He will work to attract and retain businesses; developing and promoting a commercial park will be a priority.  Former Sen. Robert Madigan will represent Logan County economic interests at the state government level. Collecting Gov. Blagojevich's campaign pledge to reopen LDC or find other options is first on his agenda.
