Don Peasley to run for
Logan County coroner

[NOV. 4, 2003]  Don Peasley, owner and operator of Peasley Funeral Home, 401 Delavan, filed with the Logan County clerk on Monday to run for the office of coroner.

Peasley is a member and officer of the Lincoln Elks Club, a member of Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of Commerce and its Ambassadors, Lincoln Lions Club, Lincoln Rotary, Lincoln Eagles Lodge, and Atlanta Masonic Lodge 165. He also serves on the Logan County 4-H Youth Council.

Involved in the funeral industry for 18½ years, he has been a licensed funeral director in Illinois for 10 years. He took ownership of Peasley (formerly Kerrigan) Funeral Home in 2002.

He has been an emergency medical technician with Atlanta Rescue Squad for 18½ years and has lived and farmed in Logan County all of his life.
