Railers strut their stuff at Olympia
band competition

[OCT. 13, 2003]  The marching band from Lincoln Community High School competed on Saturday, Oct. 11, in the Olympia band competition. Their show was based on the rock opera "Tommy."

The Railers' drum line tied for first in both Class 3A and "Best in Competition." Overall, the Railers finished fourth.

The Marching Railers are under the musical direction of David Swaar. Drum majors are senior Audrey Beach and junior Rachel Hahn. 

The Marching Railers' next performance will be during halftime at Friday night's football game, and they finish their season next Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Metamora band competition.
