[SEPT. 3, 2003]  The Oasis, Logan County's senior citizen center, 501 Pulaski St. in Lincoln, is open weekdays (except holidays) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center is also open on Friday and Sunday nights for table games. Dominic Dalpoas is the executive director. Activities are open to all Logan County senior citizens, regardless of membership.

Van trip

There are several seats available for the trip to Tanner's Orchard in Speer, and the reservation deadline has been extended to Thursday at noon. Transportation and tour cost $12 for members and $14 for nonmembers. The meal cost is on your own. The van leaves at 8:45 a.m. and returns at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 10. Call 732-6132 for a reservation.

Bingo

Maple Ridge will sponsor bingo, starting at 1 p.m. Thursday. Fun, dessert and prizes are available to all who attend.

Lunch reservations

The $3.50 lunch tickets for the Tuesday, Sept. 9, meal of ravioli and salad with bread and butter must be purchased by noon Monday, Sept. 8. The lunch is served at 11:30 a.m.

Game winners

Helen Cart won weekly pinochle, and Christine March won weekend pinochle honors.
