[SEPT. 2, 2003]  The Logan County 4-H Foundation recently presented scholarships to several Logan County 4-H members at 4-H Night during the Logan County Fair.

Betsy Bakken, daughter of Leonard and Rita Bakken of rural Lincoln, received a $300 scholarship co-sponsored by Jim Xamis Ford-Lincoln-Mercury and Logan County 4-H Foundation. Betsy is a senior this fall at Illinois State University, majoring in ag education.

Jackie Bakken, daughter of Leonard and Rita Bakken of rural Lincoln, also received a $300 scholarship co-sponsored by Jim Xamis Ford-Lincoln-Mercury and Logan County 4-H Foundation. Jackie is a junior this fall at University of Illinois, majoring in ag communications.

Emily Bakken, daughter of Leonard and Rita Bakken of rural Lincoln, received a $500 scholarship from Logan County 4-H Foundation. Emily will be a freshman at University of Illinois this fall and plans to major in ag education.

Amanda Davison, daughter of Don and Sheila Davison of rural Beason, received a $500 scholarship from Logan County 4-H Foundation. Amanda will be a freshman at Illinois State University this fall and plans to major in elementary education.

Abrigail Sasse, daugher of David and Gail Sasse of rural Beason, received the $500 Graue Inc. scholarship. Abrigail will be a freshman at University of Illinois this fall and plans to major in animal science.
