To the editor:
This is to the families of the plant
I am the stepson of
Glen Lyman. He was one of the four killed.
I know the pain and feel the pain.
Words cannot help that pain or be very soothing. I am dealing with
it inside of myself.
May you all find peace within yourself,
as they say time will heal. My memory keeps Glen alive with the fond
memories that I have [of time] that we spent together.
There is no way to try and sort it out
or wonder why it had to happen. That is not for us to decide but to
be grateful for having the chance of receiving those times together.

column in this article]
I wanted to let you know that the pain
is felt by many others around the world. I have read several
articles on that. There are caring people in a world so hateful as
we live in. Those that lost their life here are in a world no longer
with hate but with love.
They too are awaiting our arrival when
the time comes to share the peace they are having now. They are in
such peace that we could never fathom such an idea of the extremity
of it. We only hear and try to think of what that peace would be
To all four of them, their families and
loved ones, friends, and co-workers, they are at peace now and you
will be too.
