County progresses into new age of business administration     Send a link to a friend

[AUG. 20, 2004]  The Logan County Board met in a special meeting this morning to officially vote on the hiring of a county coordinator. Dewey R. Colter of Benton was unanimously approved by the board.

The newly formed Executive Economic Development Committee defined the county needs and developed a job description.  A large number of candidates applied for the position, but Colter stood out as the best man for the job.

Colter officially begins the newly formed position on Sept. 1.

A detailed article will appear in LDN on Monday.
