The organizational
meeting for the 2004 CROP Walk will be in Wilmert Lounge at St. John
United Church of Christ on Wednesday, Aug. 25, at 7 p.m.
Representatives from churches, youth groups, civic groups, schools
and any others interested are welcome to "Help make a difference in
the lives of 'The Refugee,'" which is the theme for 2004.

This is the 35th year of the CROP Walk,
which has benefited hungry and homeless around the world and in
Lincoln at the same time. The local walk will be on Sunday
afternoon, Oct. 17, and 25 percent of the benefits will be given to
CIEDC here in Logan County. Other details will be decided at the
organizational meeting at the church at 204 Seventh St.
