[AUG. 21, 2004]  Bonnie J. Thompson will have a book signing at 1 p.m. today (Saturday) at Einstein's Louisiana Coffee House, 201 S. Sangamon. For a new look at what really happened concerning the seven murders in Logan County in 1976, come up and grab her books!

Remember that summer when we had seven murders here in Lincoln? Bonnie J. Thompson has written about it in “Process of Elimination," an original screenplay, and "True Facts and Findings," a critical review of William Krueger's "A Force for Evil." William Krueger was a detective who investigated several of the murders.

Bonnie J. Thompson worked as a deputy clerk and her father was Logan County state's attorney during the summer of murders. She has uncovered additional evidence in one of them.
