[AUG. 26, 2004]  Jason Williams, son of Allen and Tami Williams of Lincoln, has signed a letter of intent to attend Lincoln College this fall. Williams is a 2004 graduate of Lincoln Community High School.

Lincoln College baseball coach Tony Thomas thinks Williams is a good addition to the team. "He's improved his play over the summer in areas that will be beneficial for our team," the coach said. Williams will play in either the first or third base position for the Lynx, according to Thomas.

Williams played four years for coach Pat Haake at Lincoln Community High School. He was a third baseman for the Lincoln Railers during his senior year.
