Weather is expected to be clear and
brisk for the annual holiday event, which opens with fire engine
sirens and features floats, bands, goodies handed out, horses and
you-know-who bringing up the end.
The parade begins at 6:30 and winds
through downtown Lincoln. Lineup is as usual on Wyatt Avenue. Then
it turns onto Kickapoo to pass by the movie theater, turns right to
round the courthouse on three sides, passes over the tracks at the
depot and turns left down historic Sangamon Street toward the Logan
County Health Department.
