Decatur's Community Theatre 'How the Other Half Loves' auditions set       Send a link to a friend

[DEC. 2, 2004]  DECATUR -- Auditions for Theatre 7's February production of the comedy "How the Other Half Loves" will be Dec. 13 and 14 at 7 p.m. at Theatre 7 headquarters, 131 N. Water St.

The cast requires three couples, age 20s and up.

The comedy tells of two days with a suburban trio of married couples dealing with misinformation, misinterpretation and infidelity. One couple is at the top of the social ladder. One couple is up-and-coming, despite the fact that she is an utter slob and he is a boor. The third pair is socially hopeless but earnest.

The action takes place at two dinner parties given on consecutive nights. The single set, representing two living rooms, is almost a character in itself.

For more information about the show and auditions, contact Jayson Albright, 428-2323 (work) or jayson.albright@centralillinoisWB.com.
