Illinois starters cheer on the second team late in the game after taking
care of business and Chicago State 78-59 Monday night in Champaign. The win
marked only the second time in history that Illinois took the home court as
the nation's No. 1-ranked team. The Illini learned earlier in the day that
they were indeed No. 1 in both the writers' and the coaches' polls, for only
the third time in history.
