The Oasis, Logan
County's senior citizen center, 501 Pulaski St. in Lincoln, is open
weekdays (except holidays) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center is also
open on Friday and Sunday nights for table games. Dominic Dalpoas is
the executive director. Activities are open to all Logan County
senior citizens, regardless of membership.

Maple
Ridge will sponsor bingo
Maple Ridge will sponsor bingo on
Thursday at The Oasis. The games will begin earlier that day,
starting at noon, and will conclude at 2 p.m. Come join the fun and
win some prizes.
Annual
chili supper Thursday
The annual chili and vegetable soup
supper will be from 3 till 7 p.m. Thursday at The Oasis. The menu is
chili or vegetable soup, homemade dessert, and drink for $4. Hot
dogs will also be available at an additional cost.
Santa will visit the senior center
after the parade, and photos with Santa will be available for $3.

Music!
Wonderful music!
On Monday, Paul Ayars will share his
Longines Symphonette record sets for an hour, beginning at 3 p.m.,
for all to enjoy. Discussion about the music will be included. No
reservation is necessary.

Tuesday
lunch
The 11:30 a.m. lunch on Dec. 7 will
feature chicken vegetable soup and crackers, stuffed celery, pear
halves, dessert, and a soft drink for only $3.75. The ticket
purchase deadline is noon Monday.
Winners
announced
Larry Van Bibber was the winner for
the monthly lunch drawing sponsored by Taco Bell.
Helen Cart and Larry Van Bibber won
weekly pinochle, and the weekend winners were Christine March and
Les Van Bibber. Joann Eckert and Louise Wiebers were the 5-in-1
winners.
