Illinois is voted No. 1

According to the
national media, the writers have voted the Illinois Fighting Illini
into the No. 1 spot in this week's AP Top 25. This marks the third
time in school history the Illini have reached the top spot and
comes in the throes of a yearlong festival celebrating 100 years of
Illinois basketball.
