Brandon Alexander also reached double figures with 14 for Lincoln
coach B.J. McCullum. Lincoln College shot 48 percent from the floor
while Rend Lake hit 43 percent of its goals. Keith Scarberough led
the losers with 18 points. Rend Lake outrebounded the Lynx 39-34.
Alexander led the Lynx on the board with seven, and Brad Howell had
six assists for the Lynx. Lincoln College had 20 assists on its 33
field goals in the contest.
Lincoln College made 18 of 38 shots in the first half as they
raced to a 41-23 margin at intermission. Rend Lake made 10 of 29
field goals in the first half and led the second-half scoring 44-39,
making 18 of 36 attempts from the floor.
