As Marshall got within seven at 59-52, the 'Birds went on a 10-0 run, punctuated by a thunderous Dilligard dunk at the 6:28 mark, giving ISU their biggest lead of the game at 69-52. After the scoring spurt, Illinois State never let the lead dip below 12, finishing with the 79-67 win.
