Doris Gresham
Doris D. Gresham, 68, of Atlanta died
Monday (Feb. 16, 2004) at 4:55 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in
Springfield.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m.
Thursday at Quiram Funeral Home, Atlanta.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday
at the Eminence Christian Church, rural Atlanta, with Andy Glass
officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Waynesville.
Mrs. Gresham worked at Funk Seeds in
Bloomington and the Dixie Truck Stop in McLean and was a homemaker.
She was born Sept. 18, 1935, in Iowa
City, Iowa, to Harley W. and Louisa A. Chase Beck Sr. She married
Robert Lee Gresham on Dec. 31, 1964, at Atlanta. He survives.
Also surviving are their children,
Kathy (and David) Wells of Hillsboro, Wayne (and Janet) Gresham of
D'iberville, Miss., Barbara (and Edward) Schultz of Bloomington;
Robert Gene (and Becky) Gresham of Missouri; Donna Kaye Johnson (and
Dale Sympson) of Clinton, Charmine (and Tommy) Karrick of Atlanta,
Cindy (and Harold) Coggins of Armington, Richard (and Kelly) Hoffert
of Middletown, Theresa (and Charles) Funk of Armington, Babette (and
Aaron) Ware of Atlanta, LaDonna (and William) Feezor of Armington,
and Jimmie (and Laura) Gresham of Atlanta; 43 grandchildren; 43
great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jane Doolin of Atlanta and Madonna
York of Bloomington; and four brothers, Harley Beck Jr. of Mathis,
Texas, Art Beck of Forsythe, Mo., Charles Beck of Kirbyville, Mo.,
and James Beck of Pekin; and several nieces and nephews, including
Jackie Gene Beck, a nephew who was special to her.
She was a member of the Eminence
Christian Church.
She was an avid fisherman and loved
crafts and children.
Memorials
may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
John Peters
John David Peters, 88, of Mason City
died Monday (Feb. 16, 2004) at 12:50 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m.
Wednesday and his funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, both at
Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City. The Rev. Randy Paine will
officiate at the service.
Burial will be in Mason City Cemetery,
Mason City.
Mr. Peters retired from the Mason City
National Bank after more than 30 years of service as a cashier and
director.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War
II.
He was born July 19, 1915, at New
Holland to James and Grace LaForge Peters. He married Elsie Boeck on
Dec. 11, 1937, in Hancock, Iowa. She died July 16, 1983.
He was also preceded in death by one
sister and one brother.
He is survived by one sister, Marian
Pottorf of Mason City, and a caregiver and special friend, Barbara
Pfeifer.
He was a
member of Mason City United Presbyterian Church, to which memorials
may be made.

Leona Fout
Leona Grace Fout, 80, of
Lincoln, formerly of Mount Pulaski, died Wednesday (Feb. 18, 2004)
at 4:43 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m.
Friday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski,
with Harley Petri officiating. Visitation will be one hour before
the service.
Burial will be in Steenbergen
Cemetery, Mount Pulaski.
Mrs. Fout was a homemaker.
She was born Aug. 16, 1923, at Chestnut
to Charles Edward and Icy Oleta Bell Mason. She married Kenneth L.
Fout in Chestnut on Dec. 3, 1943. He died Aug. 17, 1987.
Survivors are one son, Lyle (and
Dianne) Fout of Elkhart; three brothers, Charles “Bud” Mason of
Taylorville, Glenn (and Dorothy) Mason of Mount Pulaski and William
“Barney” (and Verna) Mason of Lincoln; and three sisters, Lilly Mae
Faith of Sullivan, Nola Jean Peterson of Mount Pulaski and Frances
“Fanny” Mason of Lincoln.
She was also preceded in death by one
son, Kenneth Lowell Fout; one sister; and one brother.
She was a member of Mount Pulaski
Christian Church and Mount Pulaski VFW Auxiliary.

Shrine, Diabetes Foundation or Ronald McDonald House of Springfield.

Everett 'Butch' Huskins Jr.
Everett P. "Butch" Huskins Jr., 59, of
Lincoln died Monday (Feb. 16, 2004) at 8:45 a.m. at St. John's
Hospital in Springfield.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m.
Wednesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m.
Thursday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader.
Burial will be in Union Cemetery,
Lincoln.
Mr. Huskins was born Nov. 11, 1944, in
Lincoln.
Survivors are his father, Everett P.
Huskins Sr., of Lincoln; four brothers, Robert Eugene Huskins of
Bloomington, Benny (and Wanda) Huskins of Lincoln, Bruce (and
Billie) Huskins of Lincoln and Bill (and Nancy) Huskins of Lincoln;
and six sisters, Dorothy Mathis of Lincoln, Mildred Blake of
Winterhaven, Fla., Patricia (and Ron) Robertson of Mason City, Mary
(and Carl) Lingo of Lincoln, Norma Gallagher of Lincoln and Kay
Green (and Bill Crowell) of Lincoln.
He was preceded in death by his mother,
Gertie Skelton Huskins, and one sister, Ruth Marie.

Deborah
Marlett
Deborah Runge Marlett, 51, of
Lewisville, Texas, formerly of McLean, died Thursday (Feb. 12, 2004)
at 6:58 a.m. at R.H.D. Memorial Hospital in Farmers Branch, Texas.
Her funeral was Wednesday morning at
McLean Christian Church, with Robert Twist officiating. Visitation
was Tuesday evening at the church.
Burial is in Park Hill Cemetery,
Bloomington.
Ms. Marlett was employed at D.P.I.
Teleconnect Inc. in Dallas, Texas, and was a member of Faith
Lutheran Church.
She was born May 13, 1952, in
Bloomington to Elmer and Oral Reeves Range.
Survivors are one son, Chad (and Amy)
Marlett of Grand Prairie, Texas; one daughter, Amber (and Brian)
Downes of Bedford, Texas; one granddaughter, Jordan Marlett; one
brother, Charles (and Marsha) Runge of McLean; and three sisters,
Janice (and Larry) Simpson of McLean, Sharon (and Jerry) Williams of
Normal and Connie (and Dan) Fritcher of Normal.
She was preceded in death by her
parents.
She enjoyed books and Christmas and was
an Elvis fan along with being a TV and movie buff. She loved
children.
She had a wonderful sense of humor and
a laugh that everyone enjoyed.
She was a loving mother, grandmother,
sister and aunt who will be greatly and sadly missed by all.
