GODFREY -- Friday night the Lynx fell to Lewis and Clark with a final score of 83-89.  The loss drops the Lynx to 6-8 for the season, and Lewis and Clark moves to 9-5.

Lewis and Clark led by one point at the half, with a score of 37-36. Both teams were pretty even on the boards, scoring 17 field goals in the second half. Lewis and Clark, however, outscored the Lynx from the free-throw line, shooting 75 percent for a total of 21 points. While the Lynx shot 67 percent from the free-throw line, they scored only six points.

Rodney Williams led the Lynx with 29 points and seven rebounds. Twenty-one of Williams' point came from 3-point land. Rueben Trotter scored 16 points, while Tony Gulley netted 13. Jeff Carlson also had 11 points for the Lynx.

Lewis and Clark's leaders were Cory Sims and Mortiz Wohlers with 21 points each, Robert Aitken with 18, and Ross Laux with 17.

GODFREY -- Lincoln College was handed a 79-63 setback on Friday afternoon against Lewis and Clark. The loss drops the Lady Lynx to 5-10 for the season.

Erica Ernst led the Lynx with 16 points and nine rebounds. Jessica Hamman had 13 points and nine rebounds, while Kanisha Pettis and Nicole White scored 12 each. White also had seven rebounds.
