Cora G. Russo, 84, of Lincoln died
Thursday (Jan. 15, 2004) at 4:13 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday
at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Monsignor
Edward Higgins officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the

Mrs. Russo was a registered nurse and
retired from Temple Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa.
She was born Sept. 28, 1919, at New
Holland to Glen E. and Leola Crawford Ewers. She married Anthony F.
Russo on Oct. 23, 1943, in Philadelphia, Pa. He died April 5, 1988.
She is survived by one sister, Virginia
Mae (and Harold) Schmidt of Lincoln; a godchild, Carol Schipiani of
Philadelphia, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two
brothers and one sister.
She was a member of Holy Family Church
of Lincoln, the Nurses Alumni Association of BroMenn in Bloomington
and the China-Burma-India Veterans Association, for which she was a

Dr. Robert Jones
Robert William Jones, 73, of Litchfield
and North Fort Meyers, Fla., formerly of Lincoln, died Thursday
