The Oasis, Logan
County's senior citizen center, 501 Pulaski St. in Lincoln, is open
weekdays (except holidays) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center is also
open on Friday and Sunday nights for table games. Dominic Dalpoas is
the executive director. Activities are open to all Logan County
senior citizens, regardless of membership.

Bingo
Thursday's games, starting at 1 p.m.,
will be sponsored by AARP. Join us for an afternoon of fun and white
elephant prizes.
Memories
class
The monthly meeting of the Memories
group starts at 3:45 p.m. Friday. No reservation is needed to join
this class and learn how to save those family memories.

SHARE
orders
Monthly food orders will be available
for pickup from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Friday. You may also place your
February order at the same time. The program, sponsored by the
Diocese of Peoria, is open to everyone, regardless of age or income.
The basic food order of meat, fruits and vegetables is available for
$15.
January
birthday party
This month's party is scheduled for
Monday, Jan. 26, at 1:30 p.m. Join us to celebrate your special day
with games, entertainment, cake and ice cream.
Breakfast
bingo
Purchase your ticket for only $3.50 for
the special Jan. 29 bingo event. Breakfast casseroles, side dishes
and coffee will be served at 9 a.m. Bingo starts at 10 a.m. The
deadline for ticket purchase is noon Monday, Jan. 26.

Think
tank speaker
Meet with us at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan.
28, for a presentation by Jan Dickerson of A Fitness Balance. Her
topic is "The Value of Physical Activity."
Van trip
The Saturday, Feb. 14, trip to
Springfield and the Prairie Capital Convention Center for garage
sales is still open for reservations. A payment of $11 for members
and $13 for nonmembers covers transportation. Call 732-6132 for a
reservation by Feb. 10.

Winners
Linda Hughes was the lucky winner of
the monthly drawing for lunch at the Blue Dog Inn. Bernie Haley and
Helen Cart were weekly pinochle winners. Pauline Boward and Larry
Van Bibber were weekend pinochle winners, and Tom Garrison won 5 in
1.
