Logan County Soil and Water Conservation plans annual dinner meeting    

[JAN. 23, 2004]  The Logan County Soil and Water Conservation District has scheduled its annual dinner meeting for Feb. 3, a Tuesday evening, at the American Legion Home, 1740 Fifth St. in Lincoln.

The smorgasbord dinner will be at 6 p.m., preceded by a social half hour from 5:30 to 6.

There will be a short business meeting with election of directors. Terms of three directors will be expiring: Doug Martin, Mount Pulaski; Doug Thompson, Atlanta; and Mike Boyer, Middletown.

Logan County FFA chapters will be recognized for their activities and achievements.

Entertainment for the evening will be provided by Roger and Joye Perry, pastors at Geneseo First United Methodist Church. Their program incorporates both laughter and music, appealing to people of all ages.

Cost of tickets for the evening is $5 per person if purchased by Jan. 27 and $9 per person after that date.
