Construction at the new junior high
building is progressing on schedule, and the board received a
positive report from Kort Cole and Dave Leonatti, representatives
from S.M. Wilson, the construction company in charge of the project.
The board closed the short meeting in
closed session, after announcing new exterior doors being installed
at Washington-Monroe School and discussing transportation bids.
The board
had also met the previous Wednesday in a special meeting to discuss
the search for a new superintendent. They hope to have the best
candidate lined up and ready to go by December of 2004, with the new
superintendent taking the helm completely at the end of the
2004-2005 school year.
