Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Diederich Heidgerd announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Paige
Heidgerd, a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force, to Edward Race
Steinfort, a first lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force. He is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Robert Scott Steinfort of Lincoln.

Lt. Heidgerd, of Raleigh, N.C., is the
granddaughter of Mrs. Alma Tilghman and the late Mr. Clifford
Tilghman of Beaufort, N.C., and the late Lt. Col. Diederich Heidgerd
and the late Mrs. Margaret Heidgerd of Foxfire, N.C.
Lt. Steinfort, of Lincoln, is the
grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Allspach and Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Steinfort, all of Mount Pulaski.
The bride-to-be and the groom-to-be
graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy. She graduated in 2003
with a degree in environmental engineering, and he graduated in 2002
with a degree in aeronautical engineering. They are on active duty
with the U.S. Air Force and are stationed at Charleston Air Force
Base, Charleston, S.C.
The wedding
is planned for Oct. 10, 2004, at Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church
in Mount Pleasant, S.C. |
