LC Night at the Peoria Chiefs     Send a link to a friend

[JUNE 11, 2004]  Lincoln College will have its second annual Lincoln College Night at O'Brien Field in Peoria on Saturday, June 19, when the first-place Peoria Chiefs take on the Cedar Rapids Kernels. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the game begins at 6:30 p.m.

Comedian Royce Elliot will throw out the first pitch, and Lincoln College sophomore Betsy Buttell of Lincoln will sing the national anthem.

Lincoln College alumni, friends and family will enjoy a buffet of pork chops, hamburgers, cheeseburgers and hot dogs in the Cardinal's Roost area of the stadium, which will be  reserved exclusively for the college. Complimentary popcorn and soda will be served through the eighth inning, and a cash bar will be available.

A spectacular fireworks display will take place immediately following the game.

The cost is $35, which includes game ticket, buffet, popcorn and soda, and private viewing area. Transportation leaving Lincoln College will be available for an additional $5 per person.
