[JUNE 15, 2004]  The Bronco All-Star baseball team was back in action over the weekend, winning one of three games.

In the first game at Petersburg on Saturday, the host team handed Lincoln a 14-4 loss with good pitching and solid defense. John White had a single, run scored and three stolen bases, and Tanner Smith was 2-for-2 at the plate with an RBI.

In a shortened second game, Drake Biggs led all hitters with a 3-for-3 effort.

Lincoln traveled to Quincy on Sunday and split a doubleheader, losing 11-4 in the opener but rallying twice in the second game to win 18-17.

Lincoln's bats came to life in the second game. Zach Toft was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and four RBIs. Justin Diedrich was 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Drake Biggs, Tanner Smith, Conner McQuellon, Mitchell List and Brandon Chrisman each contributed a hit and scored two runs.

Tanner Cicci and John White held Quincy to five runs over the final four innings, slowing their bats enough so that Lincoln could overtake the home team.
