Hearing delayed until August meeting

[JUNE 17, 2004]  On Wednesday the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board met in Chicago and reviewed the certificate of need submitted by the Department of Human Services for four 10-bed homes at the Lincoln Developmental Center site. The result of that meeting was an agreement from the department to delay the hearing until the Health Facilities Planning Board meeting in August.

This decision was due to the planning board requesting more specific answers to some of the questions on the submitted certificate and to some questions posed by the board at the meeting. The questions that the board wants better answers on will be sent to the Department of Human Services for their response. Continuing in Lincoln's favor, the board did not reject the certificate.
