Bernadine Lacey
Bernadine B. Lacey, 85, of Hartsburg
died Tuesday (June 22, 2004) at 11:25 p.m. at her home.
Her funeral will be
at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Hartsburg,
with the Rev. David Russell officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m.
Thursday at Holland and Barry Funeral Home in Lincoln and one hour
before the service at the church on Friday.
Burial will be in Hartsburg Union
Cemetery.
Mrs. Lacey had worked as kitchen
supervisor at Dixie Truck Stop, McLean.
She was born Nov. 20, 1918, at
Hartsburg to John and Minnie Zieglowsky Lolling. She married Melvin
James Lacey on Aug. 30, 1941, in Manhattan, Kan. He died Oct. 26,
1990.
She is survived by one brother, Carl
Lolling of Hartsburg; one sister, Anna Eeten of Hartsburg; nieces
and nephews; and other relatives.
She was also preceded in death by one
brother, Henry J. Lolling, and three sisters, Jennie Tholen, Effie
Carey and Augusta Scales.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran
Church of Hartsburg and the Hartsburg American Legion Auxiliary.
Memorials
may be made to her church, Hartsburg Rescue Squad or Wayne J. Shall

Hazel Petermeyer
Hazel H. Dorsett Petermeyer, 87, of
Delavan, formerly of Lincoln, died Wednesday (June 23, 2004) at 6:05
p.m. at Maple Ridge Care Centre.
A private graveside service was on
Friday at Zion Cemetery, Lincoln.
Arrangements were handled by
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
