relieved to learn that this long and emotional ordeal for the
Schmidt family is finally coming to a close. Although it has been
two years since the tragic mistaken bombing occurred, our thoughts
and prayers remain with the families of the Canadian soldiers whose
lives were lost. It is my hope that the end of these proceedings
will bring some measure of closure for all the families who were
impacted."
