DANVILLE --
Lincoln College turned in its highest scoring game of the season to
defeat Shawnee on Saturday and advance to the next round of
postseason play. Shooting 56 percent from the field, the Lynx took a
commanding halftime lead of 45-35, maintained this advantage and
topped Shawnee 96-67.

Five Lynx players were in double
figures. Jeff Carlson scored 19 points, while Tony Gulley
contributed 17. Rueben Trotter netted 16 for the Lynx, and teammate
Nick Malone had 14. Jason Moore rounded out the Lynx top scorers by
shooting 5-of-5 and scoring a total of 14 points.
