Viola Anderson
Viola Anderson, 90, of Armington died
Sunday (March 7, 2004) at 2:50 a.m. at HCR Manorcare of Normal.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday
at the Armington Christian Church. Her funeral was at 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday at the church, with Ed Loyd officiating.
Burial is in Oak View Cemetery, rural
Armington.
Quiram Funeral Home of Atlanta handled
arrangements.
Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker.
She was born Feb. 9, 1914, at Panola,
Ky., to Flemon and Eva Lena Ogg Durbin. She married Donal E.
Anderson on Dec. 27, 1933, at McLean. He died Feb. 21, 1993.
Survivors are one daughter, Jeanne (and
Tom) Brandt of Armington; one son, Donal C. (and Doris) Anderson of
Barrington, N.H.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four
great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by five
brothers, five sisters and one grandson.
She was a member of the Armington
Christian Church, Armington Woman's Club and Armington American
Legion Auxiliary 913.

William Peddicord
William J. Peddicord, 84, formerly of
Elkhart and Williamsville, died March 3, 2004, at 3:10 p.m. at Leroy
Manor in Leroy.
A private graveside service was at 2
p.m. Monday at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Williamsville, with Ernie
Harvey Jr. officiating.
There was no visitation.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home of
Lincoln handled arrangements.
Mr. Peddicord was a retired farmer.
He was born Sept. 14, 1919, at Chestnut
to William C. and Effie Zay McClure Peddicord. He married Eileen
Peterson on Feb. 15, 1948, at Cornland. She died in 1989.
He is survived by one son, Philip
Peddicord of Williamsville; one daughter, Barbara (and Kevin) McMath
of rural Clinton; and three grandchildren, Kaci Callison, Kade
McMath and Kolton McMath, all of Clinton.
He was also preceded in death by one
brother, one sister, two infant daughters and one infant son. He was
the last of his immediate family.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge 87 of
Mount Pulaski.
Memorials
may be made to the First Christian Church preschool program in
Clinton.
